"BISON" SdKfz.138/1M

Description

The Sd.Kfz 138 was a sig33 gun mounted on Czech 38(t) tank chassis. In 1942 the first set of vehicles appeared. Known as the 15-cm sIG33 (sf) auf PzKpfw 38(t). This combination vehicle-weapon proved so successful that in 1943 a new version was produced. This time it was a factory production rather than battle ground conversion. The result was the SdKfz 138/1 was retained to carry sIG 33 until the end of the war. The crew consisted of four men and could carry 15 rounds. Space is very limited, it could not carry more. Approximately 370 of these vehicles were produced and they were still in production at the end of 1944. (Scale : 1/72e)
