Description: The A-6E Intruder Model Kit 01641 is a detailed representation of the American ground-attack aircraft A-6 Intruder, which is the last production type of the Intruder family. Developed for strike missions, the A-6E was equipped with a new AN/APQ-148 radar replacing the old version, and the DIANE system was replaced by the latest computer system. In the late 1970s, the new navigation system called CAINS was equipped. The A-6E CAINS can be distinguished by the addition of an extra air scoop on top of the fuselage near the vertical stabilizer.
