Description :

Before World War II, Ettore Bugatti decided to design a racing aircraft that would win the then popular Deutsch de la Meurthe races. During the construction work, the originally single-engine project was redesigned and the Bugatti 100 eventually carried two engines in the fuselage asymmetrically placed behind each other and driving the opposing propellers.
