Description :

The AH-1G Cobra was the first helicopter in the world developed primarily for combat missions. The Cobra has been deployed in Vietnam since 1967. The first machines were equipped with a tail rotor on the left. Later machines were given a tail rotor on the right.

The AH-1G became the first member of a rich family of combat helicopters, the latest, most modern version of which is currently flying. The AH-1G version fought in the Vietnam War, served in the United States, Western Europe, and was also exported.

The Battle Cobra was purchased by the Spanish Navy and the Israeli Air Force.
