The SCUD-B is a short-range Soviet ground-to-ground missile that can be transported and launched on a four-axle (8x8) MAZ-543 truck. The missile gained notoriety mainly because Iraq fired it in large numbers towards Israel and Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. To date, SCUD-B is the most widely used ground-to-ground ballistic missile in wars and conflicts.
