Description

The Hawker Hurricane was a fighter aircraft of the 1930s and 1940s, designed by British aircraft manufacturer Hawker Aircraft Ltd. The Hurricane was one of the main combat aircraft that defended the United Kingdom during the Battle of Britain. This fighter aircraft played a pivotal role in World War II, serving primarily with the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, Royal Canadian Air Force and Soviet Air Force. The Hurricane was mass-produced, with over 14,000 made from 1937 to 1944.
