DA-42 TWIN STAR

Description

The Diamond Aircraft DA42 Twin Star is an Austrian light aircraft derived from the Diamond DA40D single engine. It was the first twin-engine to use a diesel engine that also runs on kerosene: the advantage being a very low fuel consumption (about 18 litres/h/engine). Its operating costs have led to the appearance of a new low-cost taxi service, which is about three times cheaper than the old business aircraft.
