SOVIET SEAPLANE SPL 1936

Description

Light and compact, the SPL was built in 1934 by a group of engineers under the direction of I.V. Chevtverikov. It was to be used from sub-marines. In 1936, SPL was demonstrated at the international exhibition in Milan. Later, several international records were held on this aircraft that was mainly used as mail transport by Aeroflot.
