RAF BENEVOLENT FUND bAe HAWK SET

Description

The RAF Benevolent Fund is a great British institution. The charity was founded in 1919, just a year after the foundation of the Royal Air Force. Back then, its role was to look after the airmen injured in the Great War and their families. That year, the RAF Benevolent Fund spent £919 on welfare expenditure. In 2011 it spent £23 million. Airfix also recognises the contribution of the Royal Air Force, and proudly supports the RAF Benevolent Fund, collecting money for them at roadshows and making donation from every sale of specially marked RAFBF kits like this one. 50 pence from the sale of this product will be donated to the RAF Benevolent Fund.
