USS SAN FRANCISCO CA-38 US HEAVY CRUISER (1944)

Description

A «New Orleans» class heavy cruiser was the second ship of the United States Navy named after the city of San Francisco, California. She saw extensive action during World War II. San Francisco was laid down on 9 September 1931 at the Mare Island Navy Yard, Vallejo, California; launched on 9 March 1933. Version introduced here is that of the ship after equipment refit in 1944.
