ITALIAN ARMOURED VEHICLE "CENTAURO" (First Batch) with Romor

Description

The first order of 400 vehicles was placed by the Italian army in 1989 and in 1993, just one year after its first issue to the troops, 20 of them were already deployed in the UN peace keeping task in Somalia. Equiped with the Balistic protection system Romor A. ROMOR-A consists of two parts, the actual tiles and the mounting system. The latter is normally bolted or welded onto the vehicle and the ERA tiles are then bolted in place. (Scale : 1/35e)
