Description

By mid-1944, the SU-85 already often failed to penetrate the sloped armour of the late Panther, Tiger, and those of many German Stugs and other specialized SPGs. At the same time, the T34/85 equipped with the same gun, but with a 360° arc of fire arrived en masse to the front. SU-85 days were counted and despite the arrival of the new improved SU-85M, a new design based on a better antitank gun was needed to keep their edge on the battlefield as tank-hunters. Closely related to the SU-85, the SU-100 incorporated much of its design, around the new D10 100 mm antitank gun. Very nice kit with more than 1100 pieces, fully detailled.
