The second generation Camaro™ was produced from 1970 to 1981. After a hiatus in 1975 and 1976, the Z28® returned to the Camaro lineup as a high-performance model in 1977. The 1981 Z28 was derived from a 350 c.i. (5.7L) V8 powered that produced 175 hp.
