Kfz.13 MASCHINENGEWEHRKRAFTWAGEN - 1939-1940
Description
The Kfz.13 (also machine-gun car Kfz.13) was introduced as the first armored cars after the First World War by the Reichswehr; by the year 1935 147 engines of these lightly armored vehicles were taken into inventory. The Kfz.13 based on the civilian passenger Adler Standard. Although the Kfz.13 was equipped with all-wheel drive, the vehicle had a poor all-terrain capacity. The unarmed version, serving as a radio car (Kfz.14), instead of the machine gun, it was equipped with a radio device. The vehicle was used in the campaign in Poland and in the West campaign 1940.
