PIASECKI HUP2/3 "RETRIEVER" (USN, CANADA, FRANCE schemes)

Description

Produced by the Piasecki company in 1949. Equiped with the more powerfull R-975-42 motor than on the HUP1 one. In 1951 the US Navy placed an order with Piasecki for new modification of the heilcopter with the reinforced cabin flooring. Also the new Navy modification HUP3 was developed with the new engine R-975-46A. The Navy received 50 of such helicopter. (Scale : 1/72e)
